A B2B website where buyers and sellers of scrap can market their products and services as well as get current scrap prices.
Why is there a monthly fee?
Free sites have become virtually useless for doing actual business thanks to people who spam these sites to test the waters but are unwilling to post genuine offers. This site is priced so that it is low enough to be affordable yet high enough to ensure that our members intend to do business.
The fee also keeps this site advertisement-free while allowing us to provide a quality platform for real buyers and sellers of scrap metal. We invite you to compare our fee to other sites in the industry. We are one of the least expensive.
How will this site benefit me?
1) It will allow you to reach a global market of buyers and sellers.
2) It is an additional marketing tool to market your scrap to more buyers.
3) It allows you to find additional sources of scrap.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes. You may cancel any time by clicking the Cancel Membership link on the bottom of the page and following the instructions.
How many Buy/Sell offers am I allowed to post?
As many as you want! All Buy/Sell offers POST INSTANTLY and stay online for 60 days.
If I make a mistake on my offer posting can I correct it?
Yes. In the Offer Manager you can edit, delete, or disable any offer you have posted.
How often do you update the scrap prices?
Prices are updated several times throughout the week.
When I join is my transaction secure?
Yes. We use CCBill as our credit card and online check processor. For more information please visit ccbill.com.
Does Iron Industries have any involvement in my deals?
NO! We take no commission, have no involvement, and allow no financial transactions to take
place on any of our websites. Your deals are your business! We only provide a place for traders to meet and market their products and services.
Do you verify if the offers posted are "real?"
Yes and No. We review every posting to make sure it meets our listing requirements. However, we rely on your honor that you market your products and services honestly. Always do your research and due-diligence on your deals. If you feel any offers are disingenuous please e-mail us and we will investigate and/or remove them immediately. As always, use common sense and buyer beware!
My credit card was declined by your billing agent. What is the problem?
Not every country can join due to restrictions by Visa/MC for online fraud protection, or are from a “blocked” country. Sometimes notifying your bank that you will be doing an online transaction can help. Please consider Joining By Mail or Wire Transfer as many members worldwide have already done.
